Your Right to Delete Your Account
At Buzzar (by Yaap Digital Limited), we respect your privacy and allow you full control over your data. If you no longer wish to use our services, you may request account deletion at any time.
How to Request Account Deletion
You can delete your account from the Buzzar app by following these steps:
- Open the Buzzar App on your device.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap on Delete Your Account.
- Confirm your identity using OTP or login credentials.
- Tap Delete My Account to permanently remove your data.
Alternatively, you may email us at subsriptions@yaap.in from your registered email ID. We will assist you within 7 business days.
What Data is Deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove the following:
- Your profile details (name, email, phone number)
- All uploaded content or preferences
- App usage data tied to your account
- Linked accounts (e.g., Google or Facebook login)
What Data May Be Retained
Some data may be retained for the following purposes:
- Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Fraud prevention and account security (for a limited time, max 30 days)
After the retention period, all remaining data is permanently deleted from our systems.
